Mr. Kevin Clarke

Meet Kevin Clarke, politician, rebel, homeless man.

You never know who you’ll meet on the streets. Little did I know, the man zooming by on rollerblades and the man protesting against officers in front of a Salvation Army, wearing no shoes and asking for money for a cigarette, is the same man who ran for Toronto mayor in the mid 90s and participated in various campaigns in the early 2000s. He became homeless in 1998 after his auto-business failed.

Homeless: Take a look back at my encounter with Mr. Clarke and others without shelter in Toronto.
